Excellent location near the old town and very helpful staff when we encountered problems (due to weather conditions) with our connection to Paxos.
Very friendly and close to the Ferry Port - Great location.
A clean, pleasant and well situated hotel.
Too much outside noise at front of hotel.
I arrived late but the reception was open and very polite & welcoming. The bathrobes were divine, the complimentary bottle of water a godsend. I was able to leave my luggage after checkout so that I could explore Corfu without it. All the staff had excellent English.
I had to pay double rate, even though I was a single. The only issue.
I am currently in the second part of my stay at this hotel. I found the staff flexible and responsive to my change in arrangements to leave a day earlier than I had booked so I could visit another island. When I arrived for my second stay, not long after 9 a.m. in the morning, the reception staff and cleaners went out of their way to prepare my room so I could use it well before the usual check in time. There is a great view of the harbour from my room and there is a taxi rank close by. I am older, slightly handicapped woman, and I really appreciated the care and concern shown to me.
The Friendliness and Helpfulness of the Staff was the key to a very pleasant 12 day stay. The view from my bedroom window across the sea towards Mt Pantokrator was wonderful. The lift was brilliant. True! The location of the Konstantinoupolis puts it almost at the heart of lovely Corfu Town and was particularly ideal for all the Easter eventsI was I there to see.
No coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
good location forlate night arrival and ferry next morning. Goood ambience.
Room was ok, but only one pillow! Basic facilities, but pretty expensive at £140 for a room for three of us. I know Easter is big stuff in Corfu, but still thought the room was overpriced for what it was. But on the net, couldn't find anything else.
I loved the hotel's old-world charm, good location within walking distance of Corfu's New Port, and the warm welcome of its staff. Charming rooms, big bathrooms (we were even provided with bathing robes and slippers!) and lovely breakfast room. An excellent hotel in Corfu Town when staying overnight for catching a ferry the next day.
The room was clean and comfortable, with TV, air conditioner, bathroom. The staff was very nice and the position of the hotel is very good since it is close to Corfu town center. I would definetely advise this hotel to another guest travelling either for tourism or business. The hotel also offers a good trade-off between price and level of comfort
The building is a bit old and screechy, there is no minibar in the room. Breakfast can be improved as well. But I believe these are minor problems: the hotel is very good
Friendly staff. Lots of "perks" you don't usually find in hotels of this category (bath-robes, slippers, individual toothbrush & toothpaste, candy etc).
When we visited, there were no rooms with double bed available. A funky smell at the ground floor entrance (nowhere else, though), probably due to poorly maintained City drainage pipes.
Location--waterfront view, yet close to tavernas and bus station for trips to rest of island. Helpful staff and lovely touches for a budget hotel, like a bowl of sweets, slippers and robes, and a good wireless connection for computers.
The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. It is a nice old building in an interesting part of Corfu Town
Our rooms were quite noisy, and the beds very hard.
Extremely friendly and helpful stafff.
Its pleasant atmosphere and its location close to the old harbour. The room had ample space and a verandah facing the harbour, which made it even more enjoyable.
SOMETHING to remember from corfu the politeness of staff
